A muralist and faux finish artist, Cynthia is the owner of ckmulvaneyartworks.com, specializing in custom painted carousel horses and animal figures.  Her work has been featured in various publications, most recently, the November 2008 issue of “Cat Fancy” magazine, which featured her hand painted cat figures.  She is currently working on restoring the “Patrina Williams” carousel, an 1880’s English carousel located in NJ.

Residing in Hunter with her husband and 2 daughters, Rebecca teaches 2nd grade at Hunter Elementary School and is active in community and youth activities.  An aspiring potter, she enjoys participating with fellow musicians in the Greene Room Players Theater Co. in Hunter.

A multi media artist, graphic designer and proprietor of Martin Design, from Philmont, NY, Heather has participated in the fiberglass horses in Saratoga in 2007; “Cat’n Around Catskill” in 2007 and 2008, with an entry pending in 2009; and the dogs in Hudson in 2008.  She has also participated in numerous shows both locally and out of state.

Born in West Point and raised in Europe and throughout the U.S., Mary attended the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, SUNY at Purchase and Cooper Union, NY.  She graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the College of New Rochelle.  Her works can be found in both private and corporate collections.  She has exhibited internationally, as well as a solo show in NY.  Since their meeting in Paris in 1999, John Golick has become an integrated part of her paintings.   He has performed his writing and compositions throughout the U.S., Canada and Europe.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY Patti was educated at Arcadia University in Pennsylvania and London’s Sir John Cass School of Arts and Science in England where she received a BFA.  She worked for the Print Club in Philadelphia and various artists in New York City and the Catskill Mountains.  Patti, her husband, three daughters, horses, cats and dogs built their house in the Catskill Mountains 28 years ago and decided they loved it so much they left NYC and moved up full time, never looking back!  She does printmaking, silk-painting, mosaic, tiling, skiing, boating and kayaking.  She is also on the Board of the Greene County Council on the Arts.

At 10 years old, Skyler Richards is the youngest artist to participate in Cairo’s Bears and Butterflies 2009.  He is both musically and artistically inclined, and takes time to draw every day.  Skyler helped his dad, Kenny and his sister, Roxy with Heidi of Bearvaria by painting the texturized portion of her body.  He resides part time with his father in Catskill.

A landscape artist, Linda has been painting regional scenes of the Hudson Valley for over 30 years.  Her work has been exhibited at the Greene County Council on the Arts Gallery in Catskill and its Mountaintop Gallery in Windham, as well as Sotheby’s Fundraiser at Olana in Hudson and Twilight Park Invitational Show.  A resident of Hunter, she is the founder of the Greene Room Players Theater Co.

“Aurora-Bear-Ealis”

Jim has had numerous solo, two person and group exhibitions.  He works in plein-air in the tradition of the Impressionists, both European and American.  His chosen subject matter is the local environs, the starting point for the Hudson River School of Artists.  He strives to “paint the day” as he sees it through a synthesis of observation, internalization and application of brushes, paint and canvas.  Aurora-Bear-ealis is a unique and fascinating departure from his usual style, and is the projects choice for their raffle bear.
